Meet our Founder
Founder Matt Dearden is a highly sought-after business attorney with a reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to business clients and high net worth individuals. Matt has been practicing law in the Dayton, Ohio region since 2014, and has established himself as a leading expert in real estate and business law. His clients appreciate his strategic thinking, attention to detail, and innovative approach, as well as his dedication to delivering results that exceed their expectations.
Experience & Background
Matt earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review and a legal intern for the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. He also worked as a legal fellow at The Brandery, a nationally-ranked startup accelerator, where he honed his expertise in working with startups and entrepreneurs.
After graduating from law school, Matt worked as an associate at Thompson, Dunlap & Heydinger in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and later as a corporate associate at Sebaly, Shillito & Dyer in Dayton. In 2016, he founded his own high end business law firm, where he continues to focus on providing bespoke legal services to high net worth individuals and corporate clients. Matt’s extensive experience in real estate and business law, combined with his exceptional track record, make him a trusted advisor to his clients. In addition to his legal work, Matt is actively involved in the community, having volunteered with the Entrepreneurship & Community Development Clinic in Cincinnati, and mentoring local high school mock trial teams. He is also a proud member of the regionally-known “Root Beer Guys,” and enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters, playing sports, watching his beloved Portland Trail Blazers, and reading history.

Matt is actively involved in the community, from mentoring local mock trial teams to volunteering with the Entrepreneurship & Community Development Clinic. Outside of law, he enjoys family life with his wife and four daughters, cheering for the Portland Trail Blazers, playing sports, and reading history.
